Experience South Africa on a vintage-style Royal Enfield Classic 500 Motorcycle with this incredible 2-for-1 Special Offer:
Rent 1 x Royal Enfield Motorcycles for 2 days for the price of 1 day and get ready to explore South Africa’s stunning scenery and culture.

The Special is limited to 2 day rentals only and the Special Rate cannot be extended. However, you are welcome to extend the rental at our regular rental fee per extra day.

Enjoy cruising along the stunning coastal roads of Cape Town or venture off the beaten path by exploring the beautiful gravel roads and mountain passes of the Western Cape, the Royal Enfield can handle it all. All our rentals include a complimentary helmet, and you can hire additional motorcycle gear (jackets, gloves and saddlebags) as extra add-on.

Upon rental begin, a refundable security deposit of ZAR 15,000 (your excess/personal iability amount) will be due which is payable at our RETZA location. The deposit will be blocked or charged to your credit card, and released upon the successful return of your motorcycle. Any damages will be assessed, quoted for and deducted from the deposit. The refund of the payment will be done within 24 hours of the bike return and once our mechanic has assessed its condition. Depending on the bank and international/domestic refund, it can take up to 14 days for the refund.

WeatherNo weather restrictions. Cape Town can experience strong wind and gusts which require extra attention of the rider and cautious riding.

What to WearMotorcycle Helmet. Long pants, preferably jeans or motorcycle pants. A long-sleeve or zip jacket. While the motorcycle jackets will keep you cosy, having an extra layer of warmth is recommended especially if you plan to ride along coastal areas. Closed shoes like boots or high ankle shoes. Motorcycle Gloves (summer and winter).

Things to BringA buff or a scarf to protect your neck and face from the sun and wind while riding. In case of rain, we recommend to carry rain gear. Simple/regular rain gear (jacket & pants) suffices. A small backpack for your personal items. Sunglasses. Sunscreen. Camera.

Rental price includes:
1 x Royal Enfield Classic 500 with pillion seat
1 x Complimentary helmet (for the rider)
Motorcycle rental (rental period: 24hrs, incl. 200km/day, extra km @R4 per km)

The motorcycle will be handed over with a full tank of petrol, and must be returned fully topped up.

Exclusions

RENTAL GEAR
We can provide motorcycle gear (helmet, jacket, gloves, mobile phone holder and saddlebags) on request and at an additional rental fee.

Petrol needs to be returned fully topped up, otherwise, a full fee of R150 + fuel costs applies
Out-of-office hours (including Sunday’s) return/pick up = R500 per item/per bike
Drop off/Collection from a hotel or guesthouse: R550 one way within 15km of Cape Town (per bike)"

Notes

DAMAGES: the motorcycle is rented out as is, i.e. after a detailed check by the RETZA staff and the customer and the signage and approval of its condition. Any damages found upon its return will be considered new and are chargeable. Any issues encountered during the rental period must be immediately informed to RETZA who will advise on the next steps.

EXTENSIONS & DELAY
We understand that it is easy to fall in love with our Royal Enfields and that you would like to keep it for longer.

Extension: If you’d like to extend your rental, please contact us at least 4-6 hours prior to your scheduled rental return (via phone or email). Depending on the availability, we will either confirm the extension and send you a payment link to settle the balance amount immediately, or we will ask you to return the bike as scheduled.

Delays: All bikes must be returned either before 5pm on the last rental day, or if agreed with our RETZA team before 9am on the following morning. If you return the bike after your scheduled return date and time, and you fail to inform us, you will be charged a full day rate plus a penalty fee of R500 for every delayed day.
