Short on time but still want to soak in the magic of Cape Town? This private, guided 2-hour motorcycle tour is designed just for you!

After a warm welcome and introduction at RETZA, where you will meet your Tour Guide and get your motorcycle for the ride, we will take you on an absolute stunning tour around Cape Town, showcasing our favourite spots along the city, the beautiful coastline and Cape Towns famous striking nature.

Available Time Slots:
Morning: 9:00am – 11:00am
Mid-day:12:00pm – 2:00pm
Afternoon: 3:00pm – 5:00pm

Please arrive 15 minutes early to complete all the formalities.

The 2 hour ride will be a circular route, taking you through the Newlands Forest and Kirstenbosch Gardens to the coastal Town of Hout Bay, whilst passing the famous Cape Town Vineyards. In Hout Bay, you will stop for Coffee on the beach/harbor, before heading back to RETZA via the scenic coastline of the Atlantic Seaboard, offering breathtaking views of Llandudno, the 12 Apostles Mountain range, Lionahead and Table Mountain.

Depending on your preference (and the weather), we also offer a 2nd alternate route:
You will ride into the historical town area and visit the colorful Bo-kaap neighborhood, before ascending towards Table Mountain and Signal Hill where you will stop for the scenic panorama. A perfect picture opportunity! From here, you will ride along the winding road towards Camps Bay, cruising along the ocean towards the 12 Apostles, where you will stop for a coffee by the sea. It doesn’t get better than this! From here, you will head back towards RETZA, whilst passing through Cape Town’s coastal neighborhood areas Camps Bay, Clifton and Sea Point – always being guided by the ocean front for stunning views.

The ride ends back at RETZA, where you will say farewell to your tour guide and Royal Enfield motorcycle.

WeatherCape Town can experience strong wind and gusts which require extra attention of the rider and cautious riding. The ride might be cancelled in case of bad weather or at the discretion of the RETZA team. Cancellations will be announced 24-48 hours prior to the activity, and if you've registered for the ride, we will inform you personally and offer you a new date for the ride or a refund. In case of any further questions, please contact us directly.

What to WearMotorcycle Helmet. Long pants, preferably jeans or motorcycle pants. A long-sleeve or zip jacket. While the motorcycle jackets will keep you cosy, having an extra layer of warmth is recommended especially if you plan to ride along coastal areas. Closed shoes like boots or high ankle shoes. Motorcycle Gloves (summer and winter).

Things to BringA buff or a scarf to protect your neck and face from the sun and wind while riding. In case of rain, we recommend you carry rain gear. Simple/regular rain gear (jacket & pants) suffices. A small backpack for your personal items. Sunglasses. Sunscreen. Camera.

Inclusions and Exclusions

InclusionsGuided 2 hour motorcycle tour, tour guide/lead rider, 2 hour motorcycle rental, petrol for the ride, 1 x coffee at RETZA and 1 x coffee at our coffee stop, motorcycle helmet, jacket, gloves and a lot of fun!

ExclusionsExcludes entrance fees, alcoholic beverages, beverages and meals other than specified.

All you need to bring is your valid motorcycle license and a big smile! We provide helmets & jackets, but feel free to bring your own gear!

DAMAGES: the motorcycle is rented out as is, i.e. after a detailed check by the RETZA staff and the customer and the signage and approval of its condition. The personal liability (Excess) is up to R15,000. A refundable security deposit of R5,000 will be held upon tour being, and refunded after the successful return of the tour and motorcycles. Any damages found upon its return will be considered new and are chargeable. Any issues encountered during the rental period must be immediately informed to RETZA who will advise on the next steps.
