Rent a Royal Enfield with this Event Special, and join us for a day ride out to celebrate the global Royal Enfield ONE RIDE event along with fellow riders across the world.
On Sunday, 22nd September 2024 we will meet at RETZA in the morning before we ride together to the Helderberg Motorcycle Museum, our route stop for the day. The ride will lead us through Muizenberg and along the stunning coastal Baden Powel Drive, before we turn slighltly inland towards the Helderberg Motorcycle Museum. The ride will be accompanied by a support vehicle with our mechanic and some spare parts to ensure support wherever needed.
Upon arrival, there will be a event lunch option available which includes 1 x Gourmet Burger, 1 x Soda and the Museum Entry. The ticket is available separately for R175pp and can be added to this booking as extra, paid at RETZA or directly at the venue.
After taking a walk through the museum and marvelling at the stunning motorcycle collection, everyone is free to end the day at leisure.
The RETZA team will head back to RETZA around 2pm via the Durbanville Winelands and everyone is welcome to join in.

Rental price includes:
1 x Royal Enfield Classic 500 with pillion seat
1 x Complimentary helmet
Motorcycle rental (rental period: even only, 9am till 5pm – no later!)
The motorcycle will be handed over with a full tank of petrol, and must be returned fully topped up.
RENTAL GEAR – We can provide motorcycle gear (helmet, jacket, gloves, mobile phone holder and saddlebags) on request and at an additional rental fee.
Petrol – Petrol needs to be returned fully topped up, otherwise, a full fee of R150 + fuel costs applies
Out-of-office hours (including Sunday’s) return/pick up = R500 per item
Drop off/Collection from a hotel or guesthouse: R550 one way within 15km of Cape Town"
DAMAGES: the motorcycle is rented out as is, i.e. after a detailed check by the RETZA staff and the customer and the signage and approval of its condition. Any damages found upon its return will be considered new and are chargeable. Any issues encountered during the rental period must be immediately informed to RETZA who will advise on the next steps.
EXTENSIONS & DELAY
We understand that it is easy to fall in love with our Royal Enfields and that you would like to keep it for longer.
Extension: If you’d like to extend your rental, please contact us at least 4-6 hours prior to your scheduled rental return (via phone or email). Depending on the availability, we will either confirm the extension and send you a payment link to settle the balance amount immediately, or we will ask you to return the bike as scheduled.
Delays: All bikes must be returned either before 5pm on the last rental day, or if agreed with our RETZA team before 9am on the following morning. If you return the bike after your scheduled return date and time, and you fail to inform us, you will be charged a full day rate plus a penalty fee of R500 for every delayed day.
We really enjoyed this special event. Everything was well organized and the Royal Enfield motorcycles were a joy to ride. Sabrina and her team are excellent guides on and off the motorcycles. Looking forward to the next RETZA event. - Michiel
